Last Bits of Auckland

So after my last post on New Zealand (where I wrote about Rotorua), this will be my wrap up post of Auckland, New Zealand. After Rotorua, we went back to Manukau and stayed at the same apartment, Proximity Apartment. My parents loved it there. Anyways, it was our last full day in Auckland and we decided to visit the Auckland Museum and just tour the city. Maybe from here onwards, I shall explain it in pictures.

If you look behind me, that's the Museum

If I'm not mistaken, this building is a school or college.

Such a breeze to talk around with the cool weather, until it started to rain. :(

Among the things we saw in the museum

I think we were at the 'world war two memorial' part of the museum

Lemon Yogurt Cake. Yum yum.

Just to let you get a feel of the weather.

But thank goodness, the weather started to get better and while dad and mum left the city to go home earlier, Marshal and I continued to explore the city.

One of the things that fascinated me.

I always love churches. From grandieur cathedrals to quaint chapels.

I'm not quite sure what this building is for.

I think the building behind me is Auckland University.

I don't know, but I like this picture. I think the construction thingy that stuck out of the building added more 'oomph' to the pic.

I miss the cheese pizza at Auckland's airport. I had when I first arrive Auckland and 2 slices before we departed Auckland.

So I guess that was the end of our Auckland/Rotorua trip. Not the best trip I had but you know, with every trip I made, I'm always thankful because it's an adventure and a great one too.

So for 2010, I wish for many more adventures!
