To Auckland, I go

'm currently at KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport). I have three hours plus to kill before my flight to Auckland. I'd skyped with Oliver, stalked everyone on Facebook (yeah right), did people watching, watched plane land and take off and just about anything. So, here's the thing. I, initially planned to drive around Auckland and to Rotorua and Lake Taupo and I was so confident about it. Like, "oh well, I'll have the GPS and in New Zealand, people drive on the left lane, so it's similiar to back home and such until I checked my driving licence again and realized that it has expired since 12th November 2009. :(

Oh well, here's to a great holiday, nevertheless.

Bon Voyage!

Camping @ Hetzingen, Germany

Some months ago, Oli went on a camping trip with some bunch of guys from church. And after the trip, he showed me the pictures he took, and I was green in envy. The sceneries in the pictures were beautiful. So, I made him promise to bring me there the next time I go to Kaiserslautern.

Anyway, here are some of my favourite ones.

Perth, Australia

Last December 08, I went to Perth, Australia with my mum and brother. And I know that it was awhile back, but Perth is a beautiful and vibrant city and I can't help but share some of the pictures that we took. Just looking at all the pictures makes me miss Perth even more. I wish to go there again some time in the future, hopefully with Oli, the next time around. So, pictures of Perth!

Where to go, what to do?
Brochures and maps to get around Perth. In Perth, it is really easy to get around. You could either walk or use one of those free CAT buses that goes around the city.

My first meal in Perth, Texas Ribs. Delicious! And look at those generous servings too!

Narcissistic Picture of Yours truly

One of the things I love about Perth is the wonderful weather and the clear blue sky.

Lovely, cheerful colour for a building.

Swan Bell Tower

Fremantle Tram. We bought a package of return ferry ride between Swan Bell jetty and Fremantle and it also includes the Fremantle Tram which you could hop on and off in Fremantle. So, it was pretty convenient to get around.

Fremantle Prison.

We took the 'Doing time' tour. I was guilty and sentenced to prison for having too much fun. :P

Those beautiful grafitties on the wall were done by two prisoners who had a knacked in drawing. Nice way to spend time in prison, I supposed.

Here's the thing. Each states in Australia claims to have the best fish & chip. But I tried most and they all taste the same to me. Anyway, my friend, Linda, recommended I try Cicerello's Fish & Chip.

It was okay. Not awesome. But okay. I had better.

My 'Awesome' brother who was patient enough to 'layan' me caused I was like 'Marshal, take my picture with this' or 'Marshal, no this picture makes me look fat. Take another one. Make sure I don't show my double chin.'

Feeding kangaroos at Caversham Wildlife Park. There were lots of them and for awhile, it freaked me out. I'm not good with furry animals.

Poor sheep

Kids feeding the calves

Helping out at the cook-out. Now, this was fun.

Enjoying the food, the weather, the company...T'was a great day.

Wine Tasting at one of the wineries in Margaret River

Cottesloe Beach.

With mum :)

King's Park Botanical Gardens. Great place for picnic.

And to view Perth City.

This man puts up a hilarious and interesting act.

 Hunks!

 Perth Urbanites

I have friends who told me, "Perth is soooo boring and there's nothing to do." But I actually thought my days in Perth was fun and exciting.

Okay, I'm getting really itchy to travel now. One more week till I fly to Auckland. I'm going to take lots of pictures. Excited nyer :)

It's Just Like Any Other Day But It's Not

16th November.

Exactly six years ago, we chose to go to the playground instead of the movie.
We sat, we talked and along the way I said 'Yes'. And that's how it all began. It has been a great journey thus far with many more to look forward to.
